The Underwater World

On a quiet morning dive, it struck me how foreign the world underwater seemed. The terrain is rugged and bursting with life and color, but our perception of the world underwater is skewed from the lack of red light waves. The local residents of the reef are able to travel to great depths with no issue, yet current technology limits us to a narrow range of tens of meters. Being underwater and surrounded by amazing marine life is an unparalleled feeling, but the bubbles released from our regulators remind us that we are only guests visiting their home.
