On the island of Utila, seeing stars was "normal." Thunderstorms were also fairly common, but unlike the stars, they would come and go quickly, making them difficult to capture on camera.
In a split second, one strike of lightning lit up the entire sky, outshining everything else around it. Just dotted along the horizon are the city lights from the mainland, but they have little to offer compared to the sky full of stars. In the ocean below, a team of underwater divers have managed to rival the brightness of the lightning strike with their dive torches.
