On this particular day in the island of Utila, the sky was clear apart from a few wisps of clouds. Despite the oncoming storm, the stars were exceptionally bright, and dotted the skies like specks of glitter. Contrastingly, the ocean just below us was a vast expanse of darkness, but the night divers' dive torches (bottom left corner) reminded us there was a whole other world just at our feet, even if we couldn't see it too well. Just along the horizon, mountains from the mainland are visible, as well as the warm glow of the light pollution from the cities. It subtly reassured us that the bustling cities we travelled from and called home were only a short distance away, but the awe-inspiring view ensured it was safely tucked in the back of our minds.
